CHARLIE CALDWELL

CLASSICAL PILATES Instructor

GREET ME

I'm a passionate and energetic Pilates instructor on a mission to spread the joy of movement and inspire others to prioritize their wellness journey.

My love affair with Pilates started when I stumbled upon this transformative practice. What began as a personal curiosity quickly blossomed into a deep appreciation for the power of mindful movement. The fluidity, grace, and strength that Pilates offered became not just a workout but a way of life for me.

I embarked on the path of becoming a Pilates instructor because I wanted to share the incredible benefits I experienced. My journey is fueled by the belief that movement is not just about staying fit; it's a celebration of what our bodies can achieve and a gateway to holistic well-being.

WHY I CHOOSE PILATES

The six principles of pilates follows

  1. centre

  2. precision

  3. breathing

  4. control

  5. balance

  6. flow

Pilates is often regarded as the best method due to its numerous benefits.

As a painter, rock climber, aerialist, dancer and former cross-country runner, Pilates is my secret to harmonizing strength, grace and flexibility across these disciplines. It’s not just a workout, but an art form that sharpens my core, enhances my mobility, and refines my body awareness, elevating my performance both on the canvas and in motion. The elegance of controlled movement and the focus on balance have helped me live injury free and built resilience, allowing me to push creative and physical boundaries.

MY COMMITMENT

As your instructor, my primary commitment is to prioritize the safety and well-being of my students by emphasizing the importance of proper form and alignment during flow.

My commitment extends to education and constantly learning to offer personalized instruction, recognizing and adapting to individual client needs, abilities, and goals.

Fostering a positive and inclusive environment, coupled with regular assessments of client progress, contributes to my holistic teaching approach.
