Protein Chocolate Chip Cookie

ingredients

  1. 1 cup of salted butter softened

  2. 1 cup of granulated sugar

  3. 1 cup of light brown sugar

  4. 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

  5. 2 large eggs

  6. 3 cups all-purpose flour

  7. 1 teaspoon baking soda

  8. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  9. 1 teaspoon sea salt

  10. Maldon salt for garnish

  11. 2 ¼ Vanilla Protein Powder

  12. 2 cups of chocolate chips or as desired.

how to

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a medium bowl mix your dry ingredients flour, baking soda, baking powder, Vanilla protein powder and salt.

  3. Set aside.

  4. Cream together butter and sugars until combined.

  5. Beat in eggs and vanilla until light (about 1 minute).

  6. Mix in the dry ingredients until combined with the wet.

  7. Add chocolate chips

  8. Roll 1 to ½ tablespoons of cookie dough into balls using an ice cream scoop or your hands.

  9. Place them evenly spaced on your prepared cookie sheets.

  10. Bake in preheated oven for approximately 8-12 minutes.

  11. Take them out when they are just barely starting to turn brown.

  12. Let them sit on the baking pan for 10 minutes before removing to cooling rack.
