I had the joy of featuring three of my original pieces, Verdant Serenity, Blues, and Scene, each capturing a moment of reflection from my life by the water. It was an unforgettable experience to see visitors pause, lean in, and feel something from pieces I poured my heart into. The highlight of the evening? Scene, my finger-painted lake with Koi fish earned second place, and that recognition meant the world to me.
Living near the beach has always filled me with a quiet kind of magic, golden hour skies, the peaceful rhythm of crashing waves, and the way nature blends color so effortlessly. Verdant Serenity was inspired by those hidden, overgrown corners of nature that feel untouched and sacred. Blues, on the other hand, plays with the reflective moods of the ocean, a piece meant to echo that internal stillness and flux we all feel at times.
To everyone who came and shared in this first chapter of my art journey, thank you. And to those who haven’t yet come visit, I’d love to share the view.
